Through the generous support of the Grable Foundation, Assistant Superintendents, Curriculum Directors, Central Office Administrators, and Principals will join instructors Megan Collett, Ed.D., Pat Dunks, Ed.D., David McCommons, Ed.D, Bart Rocco, Ed.D., Bille Rondinelli, Ed.D. and esteemed regional & national thought leaders in this compelling Act 45 Course (50 PIL/Act 45 Hours). Participants will engage in synchronous, asynchronous, and job embedded learning activities that delve into organizational transformation in 5 areas: Addressing Cultural Shifts, Maximizing Schools as a Social Agency, Promoting Student Agency, Understanding Diversity, and Cultivating Global Competence. The course focuses on using Human Centered Design practices to analyze opportunities for growth in school culture and academics. Session Dates: September 21, October 19, November 9, December 7, December 21. Participants will have the opportunity to complete assignments in groups or individually within or across school districts.Participation is $650 per participant, but through the help of the Grable Foundation and Westmoreland Intermediate Unit participant cost has been reduced to $250.Sessions will be held at Fort Ligonier, 200 S Market St, Ligonier, PA 15658, They will begin at 9:00 A.M and conclude at 3:00 P.M. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
