The Marine Resources Council is pleased to partner with Sea Turtle Preservation Society to host this Lunch & Learn Seminar, presented by Dan Schaller, Director of Stranding and Salvage Activities. All attendees must register through the green "Tickets" button. The Zoom Webinar access link will be shared with attendees through the registration confirmation email, under "Additional Information". This education series is made possible by charitable donations. If interested and able, MRC humbly asks attendees to contribute toward fueling future Lunch & Learn seminars. Thank you for your consideration. Dan is a 30-year active duty Marine Corps retiree who moved with his wife to the area in 2017 to help sea turtles survive while enjoying retirement life in Florida. As a volunteer, he manages the Sea Turtle Preservation Society (STPS) rescue and salvage team of two dozen STPS volunteers. The team conducts the majority of the sea turtle stranding and salvage operations throughout Brevard County under marine turtle permit authority from the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission. Dan is also active as a permitted volunteer with sea turtle nest surveys and evaluations, and as a board member for STPS.
