Rocky Mountain Joinery is a state-of-the-art heavy timber fabrication facility located in Lafayette, Colorado. RMJC designs, fabricates and installs commercial and residential heavy timber structures throughout North America. Entry Level General Labor jobs include stacking heavy timber, wrapping bundles, sorting, cleaning, assembly, and other hands on work. We have multiple shifts available! The essential job functions or duties of this position are as follows: • Cleaning and preparing production area. • Loading and unloading materials. • Following instructions from supervisors and implementing fabrication schedule. • Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties. • Shop work as needed. This may include planing, shaping, molding, and other basic woodworking jobs as necessary. • Other duties as assigned by the manager. Skills / Requirements • No experience necessary – will train. • Interest in timber frame industry with willingness to learn! • High School Diploma/ GED. • Ability to lift 50 lbs continuously. • Able to operate a forklift and able to become certified. • Readiness to follow instruction and work in a team.
