Construction Skilled and General Labor / CDL a PLUS! (Desoto County) Skilled and General Laborer needed for electrical contracting company. Currently have openings for Directional Drill Operators, “Bore Rig Operator”, Electricians, Utility Lineman, Equipment Operators, Construction support labor and more. Multiple positions open for a Skilled and General Laborer with an electric contractor located in Desoto County MS. Will assist Lineman, Electricians and Traffic Signal Specialist with installing poles in parking lots, on roadways and intersections and overhead and underground electrical. Will perform all related duties to include: Digging trenches using shovels and equipment; Auger holes for power poles, set power poles in holes with concrete, install crossbars to poles; Lay conduit; Hang lights, all other duties as assigned. Requirements and Qualifications include: Must have a valid Driver’s license; Must be able to travel out of town to include overnight; Must be able to work above ground level and in confined spaces. Most of the work is outdoors in the dirt and very physical. Mostly day work but some nights Some weekends Travel occasionally in the tri-state area Some work at heights Some work in confined spaces Commercial Driver’s License would be a PLUS!
