It’s time to move on from political parties and ideologies. We need a political movement that actually cares about human beings. A nameless, loosely organized movement to prevent alienation by labels and centralization of power. A movement that shares these humanitarian points: - moving on from political parties and ideologies. Labels divide people. We have to come together in a humanitarian sense. - The USA should be a direct democracy. The electoral college should be abolished. Every issue should be directly voted on, similar to Switzerlands system. - Everyone should freely have all necessities such as healthcare, food and housing. - A universal basic income. - A wealth distribution among the 1% to help support the aforementioned. - Cutting military spending to also help support the aforementioned. - Abolishing the death penalty and other inhumane prison practices such as solitary confinement. - Legalization of all drugs. - Legalization of sex work. - Release of all non-violent offenders and to be compensated by the government. - Loosening restrictions on gun laws, but having deeper background checks along with mental health evaluations. - Legalization of abortion across the board. - Separation of church and state. - Fighting back against right wing extremism and hate.
