DETROIT — A man died Tuesday morning after crashing a stolen car underneath a semi truck in Detroit while fleeing police, multiple reports said. Pictures posted to social media showed the car's front end completely smashed and under the semi truck. Police said they found the man driving the stolen car in the area of Chalmers and Wilfred streets and tried to stop the car at 7:05 a.m., reports said. However, the driver took off and police initially chased the car, but stopped the pursuit shortly after, reports said. Officers eventually found the car underneath a semi truck, with the driver, a man in his 20s, dead, reports said.
