BEWARE sadistic woman is seeking a dog

A woman living in brenham contacted me through Craigslist to adopt our chihuahua. She came all the way to college station to meet her. She made up a whole story of a wonderful life she would be given (she has a male chihuahua & wanted a companion) I told her at any point we would take our girl back if it doesn’t work out. Within 2 hrs of having her she calls and says “we have a problem” she said the dogs under her car and escaped her collar. I told her ways to coax her out and again told her we will take her back if she isn’t settling in. This woman proceeds to ignore my emails when I wanted to see how she was settling in and then 24 hrs!! later gives a short vague story of how she “escaped” after we spoke on the phone and now she feels bad. I immediately Google animal shelter near brenham ( something this woman did not do in the 24 hrs she knew she was missing) Within 5 minutes I’m given information on our sweet girl. She was hit by a car and was having seizures for the past 24 hrs and would be euthanized within the hour. My heart and my children’s is completely shattered and of course the guilt of even letting her be rehomed to this woman set in. When I gave the shelter her contact info because I’m an hour away this woman calls me and says she’s NOT the owner and she won’t be involved ! When you exchange funds for a life and you drive over an hour to give an animal a home you do become their owner. She continues to send me narcissistic emails saying “don’t blame yourself” and calls the whole thing “my situation” Our chihuahua didn’t deserve this. She was perfectly safe and happy here I do regret letting her go but I’m writing this post as a warning to anyone else posting their pet to a “loving home”. She ended her last email with “you should have kept her” yes clearly we should have she would still be alive 😔 💔 Please be aware of this woman as she’s probably going to be seeking another victim. Her name is Andrea she is in her 50s-60s short hair and has 979- number. She drives a small black sedan
