Jamaica Cottage Shop, Inc. is a premier builder of fine post and beam buildings including tool sheds, cottages, garages, livestock shelters, tiny homes, & woodsheds. We are in our peak season and busier than ever! Looking for Day Laborers to fill in some gaps and help our staff breathe a bit. We are starting at 6am --- arrive at the shop any time between 6-7am EST Monday-Friday and we'll put you to work. 170 Winhall Station Road, South Londonderry, VT 05155 Production: Lumber Pullers, Pickers, n Packers, and Cubers. Must be able to meet the physical demands and fast pace while adhering to all safety protocols and be able to safely lift 75 lbs without issue or concern. You must have boots and weather-appropriate work wear. Max # of hours for Day Labor is 32. Should you like to continue working after that, full-time employment will be offered to those interested who show motivation in working with a great crew at a unique place. We will train the right candidates on how to read a speed square, tape measure, and cut list and supply safety glasses, ear plugs, and masks.
