Description
Kylo is a two year old German Shepherd mix. He is the love of my life and I am rehoming him due to failing health. I WILL be very picky to make sure he goes to the perfect home, this is not a 'get rid of him' this is breaking my heart and I would ideally like him to go to someone that will send me pictures and updates once in a while. Rehoming fee applies. Kylo is a 90ish pound playing machine, he loves fetch, soccer, his kongs and lick mat, and long walks. He is very food motivated and will listen to your every word if you have a treat or piece of kibble in your hand. He has his vaccinations, he is neutered, and he has a microchip. He will come with his XL Kong heavy duty crate, his bed, a cooling mat to lie on, tons of toys, high quality dog food, treats, two harnesses, two collars, his leash, doggy wet wipes, shampoo, dry shampoo, his muzzle, a beep/vibration/shock collar with remote, and a detailed write up of everything I can think of about him. He is in good health but hasn't seen a vet in about a year, due to financial restraints, so he could use a checkup. The bad: he is EXTREMELY high energy and is not a good fit for someone with small children. Dog savvy cats only, prefer no dogs - he used to live with another dog and they did not get along, he is a dominant personality and we would need a very slow introduction to see if he would be compatible. Please text do not call, I won't respond to calls as they clearly didnt read this far. He will pick up anything in his reach to play with, so must be attentive, I keep him crated while I'm away or asleep otherwise he gets into everything. He HATES baths, thus the muzzle; I've only managed to bathe him twice. Due to similar reasons he also desperately needs his nails trimmed. He wants to play with kitties but tries to play with them like they're dogs, my cats both hate him. The good: He knows sit, down, stay (sort of), shake, other paw, stand up, he will check in with you on walks, sometimes he pulls the leash so please be prepared. Again, he is a beloved pet, and I am not giving him up lightly, so I will be making sure he goes to the best possible home.
