The classrooms are overcrowded, Administration is unsupportive and the unrealistic expectations from Parents have driven a "Teacher Exodus". A school should never be a toxic work environment. Your mental health and well-being are important, you deserve a new career path that values you. Many Teachers stay in the classroom because they feel as though they would not be hired anywhere else. This is not true! Teachers have many transferable skills that other industries find valuable. As a former Teacher who has transitioned out of the classroom, I know this firsthand.
