Guitarist/Vocalist Trying to Put a Rock Band Together

About me: Late 40’s male guitar player/vocalist looking to start a new band/project. I’ve been playing since I was 9 and in and out of bands from age 15-40. Some paid gigs, but mostly for fun and exposure. I am coming off about a 7 year break (from performing) and I’m ready to start jamming/collaborating with others. Some favorite bands: Bad Company, Pink Floyd, Tom Petty, Sammy Hagar, STP, Foo Fighters, Daughtry, Coldplay. And though I haven’t covered these bands, also enjoy: The Cranberries, Sheryl Crow, The Black Keys, The Killers, and The Blue Stones. I have my own guitar equipment, but no PA/vocal mikes at the moment. I don’t have room for a full band practice (drums and vocals), but could do an acoustic situation as needed. So if you have room or we can find someone else who does, that may work best. Looking for: No gender preference, but I would prefer people between age 30-62. Unless there’s someone under 30 that would even want to jam with me. ; ) I enjoy all kinds of Rock, so looking for others with similar interests and figure out what we all can agree on. Just not big on Country or Folk. I am up for doing covers or even working on some original material. Open to acoustic sets or plugged in. I’m not into drugs or smoking (but if just cigarettes/vaping okay if outside). Not looking for Drama or Egos, just want to have fun and work with other like-minded people. Working a regular job, so not focused on making money from this. But would consider our options. I’m easy going and not pushing to play out right away. I want to see how things come along. Maybe get together once/week to start. So probably easier if you live within 35 minutes of my map snapshot shown. Open to other guitar players, bass, drums/percussion, keyboards, vocalists, etc. Come join me in a cool musical adventure.
