*Superior Fitness Service is currently seeking mechanically abled and self motivated individuals to join our growing team. ----Looking for Full Time and Part Time Candidates---- An ideal candidate would be : *Someone who is mechanically inclined, and knows how to do basic troubleshooting, as well as the ability to adapt and learn how to use new tools and skillsets. *Someone who likes mostly clean but ever changing work environments, and doesn't mind getting dirty on occasions. * Someone who enjoys meeting new people and enjoys problem solving. *Someone who can be both a team player but is also able to go out and perform tasks on their own. *Are you retired MILITARY or other retired PROFESSIONAL? who is wanting to work and have the ability to have a flexible schedule. We service and repair various commercial and residential brands of Fitness Equipment within local fitness clubs, home gyms, and government fitness centers throughout the Hampton Roads and beyond. We service and provide regular maintenance on Cardio and Strength equipment. We are ready to train the right person to join our team and assist us with the following:* •Travel to customer jobsites (Vehicle and tools will be provided)* * •Represent our company by interacting with customers and clientele in a professional and friendly manner - answer questions, and provide information regarding repairs when necessary.* * •Communicate effectively with club and gym managers and staff* * •Inspect and service fitness equipment* * •Troubleshoot machine issues or errors, and help in diagnosing parts that need replacing, and execute occasional repairs.* •Clean and inspect fitness equipment - both interior parts, as well as exterior surfaces* •Help with the disassembling, moving, and installation of new or used equipment when necessary. Might vary from entire gyms, to individual pieces of equipment of various brands and types.* * •Have a physical ability to assist in moving fitness equipment and parts* * •Assist with looking at diagrams and record information to assist in completing a job.* * •Maintain a clean driver's license and insurance in accordance with state laws. Superior Fitness Service reserves the right to monitor and check driving records, and act accordingly. Company provides vehicle.* * •Not be afraid to use technology, to include the use of computers, email, smartphones, and have the ability to learn and adapt to new technology as needed.* * •Ability to follow a schedule, as well as trained procedures necessary to maintain equipment through preventative maintenance and repair.* •Ability to work well with others, as some jobs we do work in teams to complete maintenance and repairs with other technicians. *We are flexible in our employees work schedule, and we do not limit our employees taking off for vacation, etc. We do have paid holidays for full and part time employees based on the hours our employees work. The work environment is mostly low stress, making this job ideal for someone who is retired but still wanting to work. Our work environments are different every day, and each day we meet with new people, so our job is always new and exciting. *Mechanical background (knowledge of how to perform troubleshooting on basic electrical and mechanical systems). *We proved training on how to use fitness equipment in addition to repairing it, however if you have worked out in Fitness/gym with knowledge of how to use various machines (many machines have signs and pictures on how to operate them, then you have a leg up). *Any of the following background provide experience that is similar in nature: Auto Mechanic, Small Appliance Repair, IT, HVAC, Military experience, retiree, Veteran, 2 or 4 year college degree a plus* Job Types: Full-time, Part-time >>>>Please email us your resume with work experience, or let us know your previous or current work history<<<<
