Funk, Soul, Blues - Drummer trying to get project started

Adult drummer looking to start a band that plays covers and originals of just straight-up 60-70s era funk, soul and blues. I want us to be loud, tight and full of groove. Im talking about James Brown (The Payback, Cold Sweat, etc.), Betty Davis, Parliament Funkadelic, Sly and the Family Stone, Curtis Mayfield, and countless others. Im even down with hip hop and collaborations if that's the direction we go. I want to cover some songs and just jam on this shit and get creative with like-minded people. I'm looking for people that are into this. I don't really care about your skill level or background. Experienced musicians preferred obviously, but I dont care if you don't have live playing experience, etc. I am a drummer with over 20 years of experience playing in bands, recording, shows. Mostly metal, rock, blues and psychedelic rock. I have a practice spot with drums in Fort Worth. Im looking for: - Guitar players - Bass Player - Keyboards (Rhodes piano would be awesome) - Percussionists (a bonus) - Anyone with a passion for making music - Vocalists
