The City and County of Broomfield's Facilities team is hiring for Part Time and Full Time Custodians.
Scheduling is flexible between 7:00pm - 5:30am - let us know what works best for you!
Positions scheduled less than 20 hours per week are not eligible for benefits. Part Time employees scheduled 20 hours or more per week, and Full Time employees are eligible for benefits. Please see for additional information about benefits.
May be scheduled in a variety of CCOB buildings.
Hiring Ranges: Custodian I - $15.60 - $18.35/hr | Custodian II - $17.16 - $20.19/hr
Salary Ranges: Custodian I - $15.60 - $21.10/hr | Custodian II - $17.16 - $23.22/hr
After one year, Custodian Is are eligible to be promoted to Custodian II.
Essential Required Tasks/Examples of Duties:
Performs general maintenance to municipal buildings including cleaning offices, breakrooms, locker rooms, restrooms, and public areas.
Custodian II additionally responsible for using floor care machines for stripping, buffing, and waxing.

Minimum Qualifications:
Training – None
Experience –
Custodian I – None.
Custodian II - Minimum of one year commercial custodial experience including experience with floor care machines.
Necessary Special Requirements - Must be at least 18 years of age. Based on assignment, a valid driver's license and safe driving record may be required.
Applicants must, as a condition of employment, pass the following pre-offer and post-offer/hire processes: oral board, skills assessment/physical agility, reference checks, background checks including local police check and sex-offender registry check, driving record check through DMV, polygraph/CVSA, and physical screening as set for this position (lifting at a minimum of 65 lbs). Certain assignments require fingerprint checks through CBI/FBI.
