Description
C'mon MAN, it AIN'T ROCKET SCIENCE ?
Since 2013, farmers have seen ALL of their costs of production / expenses increase. Livestock and poultry farm origin expenses have increased 46% and marketing, storage, and transportation costs have increased 59%. ( source: fb.org)
Farmers are dealing with the worst inflation in decades as they work to ensure that they turn a profit this year amid soaring input costs.
Inflation affects nearly every sector of the economy. The agriculture industry must perform a balancing act because as the cost to grow and harvest crops has increased, so has the price of the commodities they sell, which increases profits for farmers.
Farmers in the Southwest, especially are facing huge water shortages.
CONCLUSION: If the farmers can't grow crops, then we can't eat ! BUT keep whining about those subsidies they receive.
IF illegals are willing to work, let them. OUR tax dollars are feeding many of them already.
