Found an iPhone and am trying to get it back to its owner

We found an iPhone laying in the gutter near Colfax and Raleigh the other day when we were in Denver driving around and were hoping to return it back to its rightful owner since it may have memories on it that weren't backed up or other information important to its owner on it. Email me through here with a description of what you lost, and if it is yours, we are happy to get it back to you. It was wet when found (there was a little water in the gutter) and the screen is cracked but the backlight still appears to come on and may still be accessible via a cable and a computer (I haven't tried). We took it to an Apple store in the hopes they could help but, they apologized and said they couldn't look up who it belonged to (which surprised me since I didn't ask to know who that was, but was hoping they had the owners' contact information and could contact them - but they don't and can't - which is a bummer) Also, if you know anyone who lost their iPhone let them know you saw this post - and maybe we can Reunite them!
