We are a non-profit initiative called Homeless are Human Cbus. The job is simple, we travel to events and public spaces. After we arrive we collect cash donations, hygiene products and snacks for the homeless. We design gift bags with all the donations inside. Then we go out to homeless dense areas and pass out those supplies. With each donation we take the time to talk with and listen to each homeless person. It usually turns into a short informal interview about their life before homelessness and what the experience has taught them about themselves and the world around them. We ask permission to take pictures and/or video, we use that content for our webpage. If you have panhandled or done door to door sales for at least 3 months WE WANT YOU! If you would like to donate any travel sized items please contact us via email. We normally work evenings anytime between 4pm-7pm. We pay $20 per hour and this is cash daily.
