Description

Ok, so here's the thing - I LOVE this dog. So very much. But I am recovering from cancer treatments and have permanent nerve damage in my hands and feet. I can't give her the care she needs and none of my family or friends can take her. She has some quirks, consistent with the breed. She is 2 years old, pure bred, is small for the breed, and is spayed. She is super super affectionate and wants to snuggle all day. She gets along great with another dog in the extended family, but at dog parks she doesn't like other dogs. She is so sweet, that without an owner who is firmly in charge she becomes very fearful and becomes reactive. For example with me, she rarely barks and is ok on the leash. With my adult daughter (who is less firm about rules) she barks a lot and pulls hard on the leash. She would do well as an only dog who can get all of your affection. She probably needs a fenced yard (we don't have one and walks can be hard). Are you looking for the sweetest best friend? Would you be ok that she doesn't want to play with (and can be aggressive to) strange dogs? Do you have experience as a dog owner of a breed that needs you to be the leader of the pack? My plan is to ask a rehoming fee. I'd like to bring her to visit your home before adoption. If you agree to send me updates and to keep in touch, I'll return the rehoming fee a little at a time. Eventually she's a free dog to you - but I want to be sure she's being well taken care of, and if there ever was a problem that you would call me. I would take her back if shes not a good fit. And if that happened of course I would return your adoption fee. So....if you're ready for the sweetest, most challenging bundle of love, and if you think you could give my baby a good home - please get in touch.
