We're a nonprofit organization, looking for a Grant Writer Volunteer who is enthusiastic, passionate, and self-motivated about seeking funds for charity.
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for assisting our Grant Writing Team managing all aspects of the grant preparation and submission process.
* Meet proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, approval, and transmittal.
* Attend grant meetings weekly via zoom to discuss updates, issues and recommendations.
* Write, revise, and edit Grant applications.
Requirements:
Highschool diploma is required
Excellent writing and editing skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy
Strong verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask effectively while performing job duties, including the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
Ability to effectively describe complex, technical solution details to lay audiences
Strong multitasking, organizational, and time management skills
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Internet, and Technical Research.
10-15 hours/week
Experience:
Minimum 1 year professional-level grant writing experience. (Preferred)
