The Campus Caretaker helps to maintain the property in such a way to support operations, promote the museum’s mission and to improve the museum as a whole. As the daily grounds keeper, the Campus Caretaker serves a major role of creating and improving the visual image of WMMI, the campus “curb appeal”! Be an important part of a small team! • General grounds upkeep and landscape maintenance • Ensure the museum in clean and ready for visitors each day • Repair of buildings and other museum assets • Help keep tools and work spaces clean and organized for efficiency and safety • Be available for most special events • Maintain the condition and rotation of signage • Work with volunteers to accomplish these responsibilities • Strive for safety for yourself and others on WMMI property Qualifications • High School Diploma or equivalent • Basic Handyman skills • Able to operate mowers, trimmers, power tools and hand tools • Experience with cleaning and organizing • Able to work outdoors in Colorado conditions • Experience in minor maintenance, lawn care and landscaping
