Campaign Staff for Jefferson County Are you interested in being a part of building a movement for a better future? Are you an organized person with a willingness to learn and skills that persuade people to take meaningful action? Join our team to mobilize engaged and active community members like yourself by volunteering with our campaigns in this year’s midterm elections. Description We are seeking short-term volunteers for positions that end November 11, 2022 to work with a diverse group of candidates in Jefferson County with voter registration, outreach and engagement activities for the November 8 mid-term election. Paid positions of up to $15 available based on prior experience. Duties include: Recruiting new and mobilizing current campaign volunteers Organizing local events both in-person and online Provide support with email, peer-peer and mass texting, and social media communication Active in the field support and assistance with doorknocking (canvassing) Coordinate Get Out the Vote efforts across the county Requirements Desired qualifications: Strong organizational and oral/communication skills Proficient in basic Google platform and/or Microsoft office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team Leadership skills Interest in political science, law, business management, communications or related fields Prior experience with grassroots organizing for political campaigns a plus To Apply Serious inquiries please send cover letter and resume with three references.
