QUALIFICATIONS: Must be at least 18 years old, Pre-employment drug screening, and legally eligible to work in the United States. WORK ENVIRONMENT: This is a fast-paced physical position that requires outdoor work in all weather conditions. Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision. POSITION SUMMARY: Route Loader works with the Rearload Route Driver and safely assists in the collection of solid waste and/or recycling. This position is the forefront of our company. (45-55 Hours) Overtime Available Part Time Work Schedule: Typically, 2-3 assigned weekdays 5AM- 5PM Compensation: Hourly / Paid Weekly Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Uniforms, Paid Time Off (PTO), Retirement ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Report to work at designated time. 2. Ensure the truck is clean and well-maintained before leaving the yard. 3. Use all safety related Personal Protected Equipment (PPE) while doing any work. 4. Comply with Al Clawson Disposal, Inc. Policies, OSHA Requirements, and local/state/federal laws. 5. Promptly report all unsafe situations or service concern to Operations Manager. 6. Attend and participates in all scheduled training. 7. Assists driver with all backing maneuvers from the ground while on route. 8. Complete all duties assigned and assist other team members as directed. 9. Operate packing mechanism with various levers and handles to activate loading. 10. Manually or mechanically load and empty residential/commercial containers into truck.
