Description

Who I'm looking for: I'm interested in connecting with like minded musicians and songwriters who want to work on original music and building dynamic songs across multiple mixes of genres and styles. Acoustic and harmony oriented. Preferably someone who sings and plays an instrument (acoustic, piano, pedal steel etc.). Professional in your life, but know how to have a good time and enjoy playing music and recording/writing songs. Someone looking to build a friendship on top of a music relationship where we can hang out sometimes and pick up instruments and work on songs when the mood strikes us, but also plan some time to work on music together, and or collaborate and swap music files and song ideas. I'm not sure I want a full band just yet as that's a lot of dynamics to build and piece together. Really hoping to find one or two individuals who write play and sing and want to hang out, collaborate, drink a little bourbon once and again while we write some songs, enjoy life and make more musical memories. What I'm hoping to put together: A strong duo of songwriting and dynamics. Something we can write our own songs individually and support one another backing up our individual tracks, but also blending styles to create new unique original songs together. I'm also open to doing some cover songs in there, but less of a "live jukebox" type thing, and more of an artistic interpretation of a cover if we do them. Rewriting them a bit to fit our style and unique perspectives. Would love to play some live shows together, and do some recording of new material. I've got a full time job and responsibilities so obviously this is something that is more of a passion, but I take it very seriously, and am looking for someone who does the same. About me: Vocalist, Acoustic Guitarist, Songwriter, recently relocated to Knoxville area (Maryville). I have been playing acoustic and writing music for 25+ years. I have fronted several fairly successful bands in Colorado and the mid-west. Was in some punk rock/western/country feeling bands that I wrote music for and sang in. I've been doing some solo acoustic work and writing for the last 10 years or so. Open to working with folks of any age, but anywhere in late 20's to early 50's would probably be best style wise and energy levels. I have solo albums released as well as examples of when I fronted bands that I'm happy to send to the right folks who may connect. If you're interested send me a message with more information than just "Hey, you still looking to jam?!". I took some time to spell out my background here and lay out what I'm interested in, please take a few minutes to respond with the same and share any insight to your experience and background as well.
