We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functioning of our properties. You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as painting, HVAC troubleshooting, landscaping, etc. The ideal candidate will be able to work unsupervised, productively and responsibly. The end goal is to maintain our buildings, common areas and grounds in the best possible condition. Once you have established your role with us, you will be assigned a group of buildings that will be your responsibility to maintain. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Perform porter duties such as policing grounds, light landscaping and street sweeping daily • Evaluate, troubleshoot, repair and maintain plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems in our facilities • Perform corrective measures such as repairing broken door hardware, changing light bulbs and ballasts, wall repairs, painting, plumbing and light electrical • Preparing suites to show ready, including wall patching and painting • Complete tasks on time and independently • Respond to On-Call Emergency in a timely manner • Maintain life safety, generator, elevator logs • Create, update, comment and close work orders via mobile work order system Requirements: • Proven track record of past experiences • Basic knowledge of building M.E.P.S. • Experience using hand tools • Very good communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to be on call and work evenings and weekends as/if needed • Travel in and around the Tampa area, as far as the Orlando as needed • To be dependable, follow details and instructions, take responsibility for own actions and manage time appropriately • Have reliable transportation • HVAC certified a plus
