We are looking for a farm crew member able to work two or three days a week (Sundays, Mondays & Tuesdays) with the potential for more hours or full time depending on the right fit. This position will give you a well-rounded understanding of working on a small-scale bio-intensive organic farm. Farm Crew members will be working in several areas of the farm including but not limited to planting, weeding, harvesting vegetables and sometimes flowers, oyster mushrooms, washing produce, bed preparation, and more. Due to the unique demands of a farm, you will occasionally be asked to work additional days or longer hours depending on weather, harvesting demands or to help accommodate staff schedule changes. Daily start times are 8:00am Compensation is based on experience but starts at $17.50 per hour. Farm Crew Responsibilities May Include: Planting (hand transplanting or utilizing certain tools) Bed Preparation Harvesting (vegetables, oyster mushrooms, flowers) Weeding (both hand weeding and with the use of weeding tools like a wire weeder) Washing & Packing Produce Flower Production support Oyster mushroom Production tasks
