On Sunday, August 28, we are excited to welcome Portland celebrity chef and author Jenn Louis to the Farm for a special book signing and Q&A. We love growing greens in our kitchen gardens, but if you've ever wondered how to use and store them to maximum effect, Jenn literally wrote the book on that! "The Book of Greens" is Jenn's award-winning cookbook, a culinary compendium of leafy veggies and what to do with them. She will be bringing copies for sale, or feel free to bring your own!
Our Cafe's chef will also be making Jenn's "Collard Green Siu Mai" from the book, which will be offered for sale so that attendees can sample the goodness of greens.
The afternoon will commence at 4pm with a Q&A with Jenn in the covered Pavilion behind the Cafe. (Questions can be submitted ahead of time using the form here.)
Then, Jenn will be hanging out until 6pm to sign copies of "The Book of Greens." Stop by to meet Jenn, get your copy of the book signed, and stock up on fall greens at the Kitchen Garden to use in her many recipes from the book.
Registration is free, but space for the Q&A is limited.
