This August Meet Up is going to be truly something special. For the first time, we're going to host a red carpet Happy Hour (4-8pm) Summer Party at Capitol Bar! This is a 21+ event. With the funds raised through the Treat a Boss GoFundMe we're stepping into supporting women in entertainment. We'll have not one, but two female DJs (Krystal Martos and Shay Baca) putting out music that's sure to get everyone up dancing inside and on the back patio. Plus, the Capitol bartenders will be making signature cocktails for the no host bar. For the first time, we're also opening the WSW Meet up to aspiring women identifying entrepreneurs. If that's you, grab yourself a ticket. We want you to come experience some of this WSW Energy. Thanks to Capitol, we have capacity to see how big this can really get. I have met so many incredible women through my WSW work. Dessiree Guy, owner of Capitol Bar, is one of those people. In the BIGGEST of WSW gestures, she's not only hosting the biggest meet up yet, but she also offered to share a portion of her sales to go back to ALIST. With the ticket sales + % of proceeds, Dess is making sure I am compensated for this work. I am blown away by this kindness. Not only will we party in that good WSW energy, but your participation will be a fundraiser to benefit the longevity of ALIST and future WSW meet ups. Let's keep these connections going all year long. *************************** BACKGROUND PDX Indie Restaurants and Women Founders can benefit from a little community support. So we came up with an idea to combine the two under the collective power of Women Supporting Women (WSW). Gathering on the last Wednesday of every month, we hope to bring business to a woman-owned restaurant and be in community with other founders. This invitation is for current and aspiring business owners only. Thank you for your understanding. 1 ticket per customer. Ticket sales are nonrefundable and go toward ALIST, a Filipina-Woman Owned consultancy organizing the event. After the event, we'll share contact information with all who registered to make meeting up again even easier.
