Are you prepared?Join us for a public speaking workshop, focused on media interviews and debate prep. WHO: This is a workshop for Democratic political candidates and office-holders in Vermont. The skills you learn will help you win re-election, and once in office, better serve your constituents by getting the media coverage you need to carry your message. WHY: This workshop is designed to help you: Learn some key do's and don'ts to public speakingIdentify your own strengths in public speaking.Get personalized feedback and tips on your own personal speaking styleSee public speaking skills that others have, which you'll want to emulate.Hone your own skills by practicing in a safe, supportive environmentWHERE: The workshop will be held at Hula, which is a wonderful co-working space in the South End of Burlington, VT. If you haven't been there yet, you're in for a treat (I dare you not to say "oh wow!" when you walk in). Refund policy: Full refund up to 7 calendar days before the workshop. After that, you may gift your ticket to a colleague. Then they'll totally owe you one. Limited spots: Maximum of 20 participants. About the instructor:We often learn best by doing. With that philosophy, Jason Lorber, president of Aplomb Consulting LLC, conducts content-packed, energizing workshops at national, statewide, and company conferences. All of his workshops are highly interactive, including role-playing, brainstorming, and experiential learning.
