Description
This college fair offers high school and transferring students as well as parents in Bridgeport (and the surrounding areas) a unique educational opportunity to increase awareness of HBCUs and prepare for the college admissions process. Come, engage with college and university representatives and alumnae, explore possibilities, and get excited about the prospect of higher education. The event will feature interactive workshops, a college essay clinic (with in-house computers) , networking opportunities, cultural enrichment, and a celebrity guest appearance by actor, Michael Rainey, Jr.! Predominantly Hispanic Institutions of Higher Education as well as Connecticut Colleges and Universities have also been invited.
