Still Performer for Art Exhibit

Hi there, I’m an artist putting on a 2-night exhibition in the Carroll Gardens BK area at a space called ArtLot. I’m hiring 1-2 performers for 1-2 nights of work, and I’m willing to pay $150 each night. The dates are October 1st and 15th from 6-9 pm. The performance is simple: I’m building a structure that I’d like someone to lie down on. I’m including a picture of the model of the structure I’ve made and how the performer will be lying on it. I’m working with an engineer to ensure the structure is completely safe and secure, and it will be tested by myself many times before anyone else. Each night is about 3 hours of lying down on your back in the position shown, but performers are welcome to move around or take breaks as needed. I’m flexible, and will check in with you to make sure you’re comfortable. The only thing I can’t be flexible with is scheduling, I need full commitment to these dates and times, as well as a time we could set up a FaceTime or or phone call to discuss the exhibition and costume. (I would like the person to be wearing a simple black suit, which I can purchase and provide if need be!) Please reach out with a picture and little description of yourself. If you’re comfortable, it would also be helpful to know your approximate weight. I will not be discriminating by size in any way- I just need to know if the cantilever will need extra weight reinforcement when installing. Not looking for any person in particular, I often hire performers through Craigslist and go by my gut with who I think would work best in the piece. All inquiries genuinely appreciated!
