While the name Tutankhamen quickly became famous, his life is only rarely discussed. This speech will discuss the incredible roots of Tutankhamen and the legacy he has had on art and media since the discovery of his tomb.About Dr. Brendan McCarthyDr. McCarthy received his PhD from Ohio State University in 2018 and has been at UVU for the last 4 years. He teaches classes on ancient Greece and Rome. He researches social networks and their political influence in the ancient world.______________________Roots of Knowledge is a sweeping stained-glass panorama of history and human drama. The intricate details incorporated into every window represent years of painstaking research on the events and people that shaped humankind from the days of wooly mammoths and cavemen to the iPhone.
