The Greater Chatham Initiative and Lead Artists Dorian Sylvain Invite you to: Community Paint Day for the Mahalia Jackson Court 1 E 79th Street, Chicago, IL 60619 Saturday, August 27 from 12-4 (Rain day is Sunday, August 28 from 12-4) Come out and get a sneak peak of the new Mahalia Jackson Court by attending our Community Paint Day! You will assist with putting the finishing touches on the new fence, parking lot, playhouses, and tables. Attire is paint clothes or whatever you don’t mind getting messy!!! Mahalia Jackson Court is an 8,500 square feet community plaza featuring: • a food truck park • picnic tables • a natural playscape and Mahalia playhouse for young children ages 2-5 years • Mahalia Jackson exhibition RSVP to Eventbrite or QR code below.
