*Please note: The location for Nerdcamp NNE has changed from Freeport High School to The University of Southern Maine. nErDcamp Northern New England is an "unconference" with a literacy focus. Participants take part in developing the sessions the morning of the conference. Feel free to suggest a topic and/or moderate a session! You don't need to be an expert, just a curious educator. In the past, sessions covered a range of topics including conferring with students, reaching reluctant readers, using technology in a literacy classroom, and much more!
nErDcampNNE is free to attend but each participant must register to reserve a spot! Space is limited, so be sure to register early. Please only register if you plan to attend. We expect a full conference and have had waiting lists in past years.
Visit http://nerdcampnorthernnewengland.blogspot.com or the Event SiteĀ for more details and the most current information. You can also follow on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Contact us at [email protected] with questions.
(nErDcamp NNE was inspired by nErDcamp Battle Creek, which was started by Colby Sharp, co-founder of the Nerdy Book Club.)
