Looking for a safe space to connect with other expecting mothers and learn how to have a supported and empowering birth? Look no further! Our 6-week series will focus on supporting you during pregnancy, preparing for your birth, and planning for your postpartum. We will cover a wide range of topics including: prenatal care, what to expect during childbirth, coping tools for labor, self-care, communicating with your partner, postpartum planning, and emotional changes that can occur during childbirth and beyond. Through interactive lessons and activities, we will create your birth intentions (a more flexible birth plan), practice comfort measures for labor, practice breastfeeding and bottle feeding techniques, and find ways to connect with your baby. As a birth and postpartum doula, Jenna Hiebert meets families where they are in their journey and encourages them as a coach and a cheerleader. She also focuses on building your confidence on your journey - whether it be in preparation for becoming a parent, or as a new parent and even navigating being a parent to multiple children. She will assess each family’s needs and help to create a plan to both support you and help you gain the knowledge you need for your own journey. Erin Crites combines her knowledge as a childbirth educator, doula, a postpartum group leader, and her own personal experience to create a diverse series that will not only help prepare you for your birth, but also look ahead to those first 40 days following birth. Her goal is for families to learn what to expect and how to address it when the time comes, as well as know who to turn to when additional support is needed. This group will be limited to 10 families in order to create a safe space for us to learn, grow, and process with each other. Pay what you can: $60-$120 for the entire 6 weeks.
