ISF Trip to Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha

Please join your friends at International Student Fellowship for a trip to the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha on Saturday, August 27. This zoo is rated as one of the best zoos in the world! Walk through the world’s largest indoor desert and the largest indoor rainforest in North America. Explore exotic locations and underground caves to see thousands of animals from across the globe in their natural habitat. It is a short 1-hour drive from Lincoln, and transportation will be provided from UNL (both City Campus and East Campus). Be sure to register and save your spot as transportation is limited! Date: Saturday, August 27, 2022 Cost: $10 per person (includes cost of transportation and zoo admission). You will be responsible for bringing or purchasing your own lunch and/or snack while at the zoo. We will leave from both City Campus (Union, R Street)and East Campus (south side of Dairy Store) at 9:00am on Saturday, September 5th. Plan to arrive at no later than 8:45 in order to arrange transportation and to have time to fill out a liability waiver form. We cannot accommodate children 8 years of age or younger. We will leave promptly at 9:00am so that we can arrive at the zoo at 10:00am. We plan to arrive at the Omaha Zoo around 10:00am, and we must all enter the Zoo together as a group. Lunch is on your own--there are many places inside the zoo that offer meals and snacks. We will regroup to leave the zoo around 4pm. The phone number you provide at registration will be given to your driver so that you can regroup more easily. We expect to be back in Lincoln around 5pm. In order to qualify for transportation to Omaha and admission to the Zoo with ISF, you must be a UNL student, scholar, faculty/staff member, an approved volunteer/chaperone, or an immediate family member of a student or scholar who is attending this trip. Unless you are an approved volunteer/chaperone, you must register by 12pm on August 26, 2022, in order to attend this trip. ISF (International Student Fellowship) is a student club at UNL that helps international students and scholars adjust to life in America and helps you develop lifelong friendships from your time in Nebraska.
