Where's my drummer/guitar/keyboard players out there? I’m a long-time bassist (22 years) that’s been in all kinds of bands for a long time, and I decided that I just want to play in a fun cover band. I’m thinking songs like “You Spin Me Round” and “Africa”. Ya know? Fun stuff that people will get excited about hearing and want to dance/sing to. I can also sing. Not as well as I play bass, but well enough for backup vocals. Or if you want to go a different route, I’m also open to other cover bands also fun! Point is I want to get some gigs. If you have a couple originals you’d like to throw into the mix, great. I’m down to meet once a week for a couple hours, I assume it would just be to practice the songs we already learned at home, it wouldn’t be the time to learn them at practice. I keep my bass at work so I can practice every day on my lunch. I have a place we can practice but open to alternatives. Hope to find whoever you are for a great band!!
