Creative expression has innate healing properties. Through making art and discussing it with an art therapist, you can greatly improve your life and mental/emotional health. Art therapy has many benefits including relieving anxiety, helping to manage behavior and addictions, and increasing self-esteem.
Licensed art therapist Hannah Login, and President of The Tennessee Art Therapists Association will guide these experiences.
This is not a technique-based class. It is an opportunity for you to explore feelings and issues in a safe and relaxed setting. We will be offering this program twice a month whenever possible, we ask that you only get a ticket for one of the monthly sessions to allow others to experience and benefit from the classes. The next class will be on Monday, June 20, 5p-6:30p.
TICKETS ARE REQUIRED AND MUST BE PICKED UP AT THE SODDY-DAISY COMMUNITY LIBRARY. A $5 DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED FOR EACH PERSON AND WILL BE RETURNED UPON ARRIVAL. EVENTBRITE TICKETS ARE NOT AVAILABLE, AND CLICKING GOING DOES NOT RESERVE A SPACE.
Tickets are required and this session is for adults 18 and over. Only 1 member of a household may attend any session in order to allow that person a private and peaceful environment. You must be a member of the SDCL in good standing (no late fees or overdue books) in order to participate.
