Description
A brand is what people say about you when you are not in the room. – Jeff Bezos, Amazon Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. – Matthew 5:16 Do you have a story to tell? Is your nonprofit changing lives and you wish more people knew about it? It’s time to tell that story. The world of nonprofit “Marketing and Communications” is not about selling, but rather about sharing….and inviting. In partnership with our friends form Mission Triangle, the Marketing and Communication workshop is the capstone workshop in our two-year cycle. It’s the moment and opportunity to bring all the hard work together and share it with the community. Your stories, your team, your plans for the future, even your financials and your needs. These all need to be shared with the community so that we can continue work together and we can celebrate all that God is doing in our midst. Even if you have never been to one of our workshops, we encourage you to join us, spend time with like-minded leaders, and invest in planning your marketing and communications efforts for the future. Among other topics, we will cover: Terms: Examining the key terms and parts of M&CGoals: Adopting the right communication postureIdentity: Clearly communicating who you are as an organizationStyle: Understanding your audience Strategy: Creating a robust Communications PlanYour organization should NOT be “the best kept secret in the area!” Who should attend? Everyone interested in helping a nonprofit share the good work that is happening. Executive Directors, Marketing Directors, Board Members, Staff, and champions (donors/volunteers). Join us and gain some practical knowledge and strategies to clarify your marketing strategy and build a plan that will move you forward. This event is provided AT NO COST to local nonprofits because we believe that healthy nonprofits can empower change and transform our communities.
