The Raleigh RunningNUTZ and CyclingNUTZ are sponsoring a Run, Walk, and Roll Event on Saturday morning August 20th from Anderson Point Park starting at 7:30 AM. We will meet in the parking lot located at the bottom of the bridge as opposed to the parking area at the top of the bridge at the Community Center. The “NUTZ” Club is based in Cary and was established in 2015. Through our passion for running and cycling we promote healthy lifestyles among people of every level of ability and build lasting friendships while providing a fun and inspiring environment. This event will provide the community with an opportunity to meet with the Club Founders and Leadership Team to hear more about providing our community with an inclusive, friendly, safe, and healthy physical fitness environment, offering activities and organizing events for all levels of physical fitness, including those with physical disabilities to achieve the possible! We welcome everyone from beginners or anyone looking to train for a race event, to experienced athletes looking to maintain their fitness and training. We also welcome Walkers, Wheelchair and Race Chair Athletes, and those that would like to run or walk with their dogs. We plan to Run, Walk, and Roll out along the Neuse River Trail North, and for those that need guidance as to the route, we will pair up groups with someone familiar with the route, and based on the pace and distance preferred. In addition, we will be offering samples of the Gnarly Nutrition Hydrate product and a special RRNUTZ discount code on all Gnarly orders.
