MTS & CSS are teaming up to bring a two day class on pistol and carbine marksmanship, manual of arms, and gunfighting principles for personal, home, and community defense. This class will include a day of pistol work and a day of carbine work. The class will focus on mainly stationary drills however, there will be movement involved in some exercises.
Please have all optics and sights zeroed before arriving for the class. At the end of day one we will conduct a quick zero check with rifles/ carbines and discuss the pros & cons of certain zeroes.
Training will begin each day at 8am with a safety brief and we will work until we’ve used up the ammo allotment for the day or we reach the point of diminishing returns. Bring plenty of water, and it is highly recommended to bring lunch each day so we can minimize down time.
Equipment required:
Serviceable semi-auto pistol with 3 magazines
Serviceable semi-auto rifle with 3 magazines
500 rounds pistol
500 rounds rifle
Pistol belt with holster and pistol mag pouches (rifle mag pouches not required but highly encouraged).
Sling for the rifle/ carbine
Clothing appropriate for the weather* with closed toe shoes.
*For those unfamiliar, NC weather can experience all the seasons in a given day, and it will most often rain even if only for a few minutes at time. Please pay attention to the weather leading up to the class. Dress for warm weather and have layers available for cold mornings & evening with a rain jacket on hand.
If you have any questions, please reach out through the contact link for MTS and myself and/ or Derek will provide you with guidance or a solution.
