In 1999 a handful of transgender people sought to highlight the need for awareness around anti-transgender violence, which refers to attacks against people who are perceived as transgender — regardless of how one may personally identify. To that end, the first Transgender Day of Remembrance event in the Castro district of San Francisco, holding the names of those lost in silent testimony.
We will have a plated dinner (chicken or salmon), auction items, music from DJ Aiko Finesse, an awards presentation hosted by Hiluv Johnson and RoWhoa Davis, and a ceremonial reading of the names.

Bronze $350- $499: Business Logo on our website, projected at the event, and in the program
Silver $500-$999: Bronze plus 1/4 page ad in the program and 2 unassigned tickets
Gold $1000-$2999: Bronze plus 1/2 page ad, 4 unassigned tickets, logo on the photo banner and social media recognition
Platinum $3000-$4999: Bronze plus full page ad, 1 table (6 seats), major donor cocktail hour, Social media recognition for a week
Double Platinum $5000+: Bronze plus full article in and choice of ad placement, 2 tables (12 seats), 3 min to speak about your organization the night of the event, monthly highlight on website with 20 second video.
