Links, an American Grill invites you to join us September 16th in the Heritage Room inside the Harbour Town Clubhouse for an evening of fine wine and dinner featuring Orin Swift Wines. The event includes a special presentation by a representative of the vineyard. Links, an American Grill Chef de Cuisine Sean Carroll and his culinary team will prepare a distinctive five-course menu including: Ora King Salmon, Crepinette and Steak Diane. We are excited to have Charles Lassor as our speaker for the evening. Charlie Lassor is the Gallo Luxury Wine & Spirits Specialist in Charleston, South Carolina. Born in Bennington, Vermont Charlie moved to South Carolina to attend the College of Charleston. After graduation he pursued a career in Education and moved to Taiwan to teach English. Upon returning and graduating from The Citadel, Charlie worked as both a local teacher and a server at a fine dining restaurant. "My interest in wine and spirits would lead me to working for Republic National Distribution Company for the next 9 years. My last role with the company was as a specialist representing the fine wine and spirits portfolio. While working for RNDC, I was able to achieve the following professional credentials: WSET Level 3 (certified educator), Certified Sommelier (CS), Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW), and in August of 2020 became a Certified Spirits Specialist (CSS). " Outside of work, Charlie is a married father of two: Lula (10) and William (7), a music lover and world traveler. Tickets are $150 per person, including tax and gratuity.
