Contact Hours: 32 Course Description: This class will go beyond the basic skills learned in the Academy. Students will learn different techniques of forcible entry, search and rescue, use of thermal imaging, ventilation, V.E.I.S, hose line management, fire streams, their application, and water mapping. There will be an emphasis on the importance of the “first five minutes”, and how they affect the remainder of the call. There is something for everyone, from entry level firefighters to Chief officers. This course will be fast paced, hands on, and three of the four days there will be LIVE FIRE.
