Buddha is a 2-3 year old Staffie who weighs about 50 lbs. He was a rescue from a shelter. He's good with dogs, cats, children, and is housetrained! Here's the report from his foster home, who says he's made such great progress since being rescued! Buddha is really social; he loves animals and people. In fact, he loves them SO much that he can get a bit over-excited when meeting new ones! With well managed introductions, Buddha has been calm, social and gentle with children and smaller animals. If given the opportunity, Buddha is an excellent cuddler! Buddha can be sensitive to sounds and noises - he listens a lot to what's going on outside, from dogs down the street, kids playing, cars honking and will perk up and bark. He can be jumpy, and we have been working on this; he's been much better about sitting in front of the door to go out. Buddha is really playful with people, though he occasionally forgets how big he is! Buddha doesn't seem to need a lot of exercise, since hikes in the evening tired him out before we got too far. Buddha is housetrained and crate trained. Buddha LOVES people and I know whoever adopts him is going to fall head over heels in love with him too.
