Taking Up Space Film Festival Presented by Park Multimedia, Black Scranton Project, and Scranton Fringe. DATES/TIMES: Friday, October 7th at 8:30 pm Saturday, October 8th at 2:00 pm and 8:30 pm Taking Up Space is a new film festival within the 2022 Scranton Fringe Festival that will showcase the works of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, Persons of Color) filmmakers. Documentary, narratives, animation, experimental, and all other genres of short films will be highlighted. The artistic director and curator of Taking Up Space is Dan Kimbrough. This special venture is presented by Park Multimedia, Black Scranton Project, and Scranton Fringe. VENUE: People's Security Bank Theatre at Lackawanna College (501 Vine Street, Scranton PA) RATING: Free on-site parking is available at this venue during all 2022 Scranton Fringe Festival events/performances). Please note per Scranton Fringe policy, audiences will be requested to wear masks when not eating or drinking within this venue. Masks will be available at all indoor Fringe Festival venues.
