The Service Advisor is a connection between service technicians and customers. In this position you will have the opportunity to assist customers in determining problems with their vehicles while providing accurate repair descriptions to technicians. In addition, the advisor is responsible for greeting customers amicably, listening to their requests and needs, scheduling service appointments and estimating repair costs. Check out our instagram profile: Essential Functions: - Answer incoming telephone calls, texts and/or emails promptly and courteously making every effort to satisfy the customer's inquiry. - Schedule customer appointments - Provide a welcoming environment for customers - Take client information and car concerns - Perform the car check-in process - Prepare a detailed repair order, with estimates for parts and labor, and obtain the customer's signature. - Recommend additional service based on vehicle inspection findings - Ensure that any additional authorized work is added to repair order - Ensure customers' vehicles are secured and parked in the proper location with keys labeled and locked in a protected place. - Communicate frequently with technicians and parts associates to ensure timely completion of work. - Follow up with customers on the status of their vehicle repair, based on customer communication preference. - Help customers apply for financing if needed - Process payment, work with extended warranties and insurances Position Requirements: - High School diploma or equivalent - Valid in-state driver’s license with acceptable and safe driving record - Basic automotive technical language knowledge - Attention to detail. - Excellent communication, listening and organizational skills. - Basic mathematical skills - Organization, teamwork and follow up skills. - Maintain a professional, respectable, and well-groomed appearance. - Ability to work in a technology-oriented environment. - Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information. - Keep the work area clean and organized. customer friendly attitude - Ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
