Denver band “Catalyst” is currently seeking members who have experience playing either bass, drums or has vocals. Both of us have intermediate experience at guitar. I know a little bit of drums and bass, but we need members who have at least a few years of experience in one of the instruments. We have a few songs in the works to make a demo. My friend has been playing guitar for 8 years and I have been playing for 3 years. We’re both 19 years old and we’re determined to play and create songs closely related to classic metal, trash metal, heavy metal. (Examples include Megadeth, Metallica, bad religion, agent orange, helmet, faith no more just to name a few.) Practice times are pretty flexible, however we both have a job so we usually practice whenever we can. We can arrange a desired time to meet for band practice. You have to have your own gear to practice. Unfortunately, we cannot provide gear for you. We will have our own. As for transportation and space, we will provide for both. GROUND RULES: There shall not be any sort of hierarchy in the band or anyone believing that they are the leader of the band. That will not be tolerated. No disrespectful or rude comments towards members. We accept musicians regardless of what they look like, their beliefs or where they came from this is a safe zone. We all have to be fully committed to the band, no excuses unless it is really urgent. Band practice is really important. It will be your responsibility to show up to these times which we as a band will agree on. Our purpose is to have fun while making/playing music, we are both fairly laid back and want this band to work out well and maybe make this band a profession.
