Send in your resume. Persons with a bachelor's degree will be preferred. Pays $25/hr. with tips. This is definitely not your average job with breaks, benefits, and selected days off. A lot of things are negotiable except pay. We can determine how many hours we want to work, but on average I'd say we work about 30-40hrs a week. I've been a mover going on 7 years and I've noticed some pros and cons, if this is a deal breaker for you, then keep it moving. Pros: 1.Technically pays more than $25/hr. Some jobs finish within 30minutes but you will paid with 2hrs. 2. No drivers license necessary, I will pick you up for work. 3. Have friends in town or got something important to do? Let me know in advance and take the day off no problem. 4. I will teach you a lot of new skills. How to load trucks, taking apart appliances, desks, tables, beds, and hooking up trailers. 5. There's not a lot of original thinking. Sooner or later all the furniture looks the same. 6. I will pay you same day. Very few circumstances where I won't. 7. There's nothing you need to provide; I have everything. Cons: 1. Need to be an early riser. It's rare but some jobs start as early as 7:00am. Most jobs start at 9:00am 2. Breaks are not always built-in into the jobs. On the flip-side, sometimes my clients buy us lunch and pay us for the lunch time. 3. There are no sick days* 4. Must be willing to lift heavy furniture. You'd be surprise about how many "easy jobs" there are but once in a while something very heavy will have to be moved. Things that I expect from you: Be a team player, be motivated to work long hours, be punctual, and have a good attitude. All that being said, I'm about the nicest guy you will meet in Las Vegas. I will work to make sure you earn well so that you can be happy; you're success is also my success. There's plenty of adventure and money to out there to be made and I hope to make the best out of it.
