Woburn Begins Paving Work: See The Paving Schedule

WOBURN, MA — Crews in Woburn were scheduled to begin milling work on a series of area roads on Monday morning ahead of planned repaving this week, the city announced last Friday. This work may cause delays in some places as Woburn Police and Department of Public Works personnel remain on site, the city said. City contractors plan to mill impacted roads on Monday morning before completing additional work to prepare roads for repaving. Crews will then move forward with the following paving schedule, weather permitting, beginning on Tuesday and running through Friday. Tuesday, Aug. 16: Houghton St.Wright St.High School Access Rd. Wednesday, Aug. 17: Glenwood St.South St.Lakeview Ave.Innitou Rd.Highet Ave.Pine Grove Ave. Thursday, Aug. 18: Frances Rd.Millyan Rd.Ellen Rd.Dickson Rd.Emeline St.Hinston Rd. Friday, Aug. 19: Robert Ave.Salem Ave.Schneider Ct.George Ave.Paul Ave.Henry Ave.Packard St. The city has recommended that anyone impacted by upcoming paving check the city's paving schedule for any updates or changes in the coming week.
