POLITICAL CAMPAIGN JOB OPPORTUNITY Political campaign is seeking canvassers for the upcoming November 8th General election. Canvassers will walk through neighborhoods in Long Beach to knock on doors and spread the campaign’s message to voters, face to face. Job Description • Canvass door to door conducting direct voter contact with targeted voters • Help campaign achieve its goals by identifying supporters • Deliver persuasion message to undecided voters Paid Canvasser Requirements • Prior campaign/canvassing experience isn’t needed, but is preferred • Excellent verbal communication skills needed • Access to reliable transportation required • Must have a smart phone • Live locally is required • Must be able to commit to your entire schedule till election day Pay and Hours • $15 an hour, paid bi-weekly after shifts are completed • Hours are 12pm to 5pm Saturday and Sunday and 3pm to 7pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (Schedule may increase) This is also a great opportunity to learn about political campaigns for future employment.
